Woodpecker’s Piezo Surgery Ultrasonic Surgic Touch LED is a state-of-the-art bone surgery device that offers great convenience to both the professional and the patient, capable of performing microscopic cuts for minimally invasive surgeries (3.5mm long x 0.5mm wide) that minimizes the surgical area, resulting in less swelling after surgery, facilitating osteointegration, and therefore, facilitating a faster and less traumatic postoperative recovery for the patient.
No cutting effect on soft tissue (neural, blood vessels, mucous membranes…), which avoids any type of injury during surgery, and therefore, can protect the vascular nerve of the area being operated on.
Its large 7″ Screen / Display offers a simple and intuitive interface that allows you to see and control everything you need to perform the surgery in 3 simple steps: select the working mode, adjust the irrigation flow rate and start the surgery.
The HB-1L handpiece with ultrasonic technology generates very little heat during cutting and the irrigant rapidly cools the working area, ensuring that the temperature remains below 38ºC, and rinsing the working area during surgery, thus minimizing bleeding and providing the practitioner with a clear view of the working area. Can be sterilized at 134ºC.
Apart from having 3 working modes (described below), we want to highlight its Self-cleaning Mode.

Cutting mode
Depending on the patient’s bone density, you can select the power (7 different levels depending on the type of bone) and the volume of water.
 
Level 1 and 2 : Porous bone: Recommended for bones with low bone density / poor cortical bone.
Level 2 and 3 : Bone type III: Recommended for bones with uniform bone density / good cortical bone.
Level 3 and 4 : Bone type II: Recommended for bones with high bone density / high cortical bone.
Level 5, 6 and 7 : Type I bone: Recommended for bones with high bone density / large cortical bone.
 
Periodontics Modes (P)

Self-cleaning Mode (C)
Once the Mode has been selected on the display, keep the foot pedal pressed to confirm the self-cleaning of the irrigation line (25 sec.). Once finished, it is recommended to clean the peristaltic pump and the handpiece.
